Newspaper Article about Our Club
During last Sunday’s launch at the Clarendon/Shawville site, I was interviewed by a reporter for the local newspaper “The Equity”. The story can be seen at https://www.theequity.ca/rockets-launched-in-clarendon/.

LDRS 41 Photos
I forgot to mention that I’ve added a small album of pictures from LDRS 41 in Wisconsin this last summer. A party of four of us attended, driving to the Bong State Recreational Area via the northern route through Sault Ste Marie. We took camping trailers, staying in Walmart parking lots on the way there and back, and staying at a campsite in the Bong during LDRS. Teresa and John got in quite a few flights, I got to catch up with a bunch of friends that I only ever see at big HPR launches, and I got to brush up on my tracking and my tree climbing!
New Launch Site Found
A new launch site has been found, and an insurance certificate has been obtained and sent to the landowner. We are in the process of planning our launch calendar for the coming few months. Please stand by for publication of the new launch calendar.

Prefect Bill Wagstaff, Secretary/Treasurer Teresa Wagstaff and Member at Large Glenn Mitchell attended the Upstate Research Rocketry Festival at Potter, NY from June 9 – 11. The weather was fairly good, with only a limited amount of haze remaining after the smoke from Canadian forest fires the previous week. A certain amount of haze can be seen in the photo above. The group’s flights were entirely successful, boding well for their planned pilgrimage to Wisconsin’s Richard Bong State Recreational Area for LDRS 41 in a few weeks.
